Celebrate Lunar New Year in Cleveland and Surrounding!

Feb 3:
The University of Akron presents Chinese Martial Arts & Folk Music Performance Group, Wednesday, Feb 3 2010 at 7:15pm at the EJ Thomas Performing Arts Hall, 198 Hill Street, Akron, OH 44325-0035, 330.972.7570. Tickets are FREE, can be picked up at the EJ Thomas Hall. Office hour is M-F from 10:30am to 6pm or in the evening of performance. Parking  is FREE too. This performing group was featured at the opening ceremonies at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. Sponsored by the Confucius Institute of The University of Akron

Feb 20:
Asians & Friends' 15th Annual Lunar New Year Dinner/Show/Dance will be on Sat, February 20, 2010, 6pm at Hunan Gourmet Chinese Restaurant. Ticket price is $35 (with AFC 2010 membership renewal), $40 for non members.  These price will remain until Feb 6.  Then prices will go up to $45.  After Feb 16, tickets are $55 (if available) .  Purchase your membership and tickets by credit cards at our website http://afcleveland.org now.

The WCCA Chinese New Year party 2010 will be held at the Westlake Parkside Intermediate School from 5:00 p.m to 9:00 p.m.. Dinner including desert will be provided at the party. If you haven't purchased your tickets yet, please visit WCCA website http://www.westlakechineseschool.com to get the ticket order form and more information. You can fill out the order form and bring the check to me on Saturday morning.
